The lodge is located in a charming village only 10km from Victoria’s premier ski resort Mount Hotham, and 10km from Hotham Airport. The 600sqm building is set on the village’s largest piece of freehold land (2,347sqm). It’s significant to note the village has the highest freehold land in Australia (everything else is leased land from the government) - making the land a valuable investment in its own right.
The lodge is within easy walking distance of the village shops and restaurants and offers guests an alpine adventure playground surrounded by trails for walking and mountain biking, over 30km of cross country ski trails, its own beginner ski run and plenty of opportunities for snow play.
Some of the growth possibilities for the business include increasing occupancy outside of the winter season, as well as developing the site and adding additional accommodation for guests or managers, or adding conference/function rooms to allow the lodge to host multiple events.
